We evaluated almost all the IB schools and found that CIS had the best bilingual IB academic programmes and most well-balanced and diverse international student community in Singapore.

The school encourages inclusive participation and welcomes new ideas and initiatives. Our family joined CIS in January 2021 and, within a few months, Saarth had the opportunity to perform at the David Foster Theatre for UN day and in the school’s talent show. The performances were streamed virtually so we could watch from home. The principals and classroom teachers also gave full support for his plan to start a new CIS cricket league and for Aadya to engage with librarians to plan her upcoming online short-storytelling sessions.

Our children love the warm, caring and friendly community at CIS and they love meeting the school principals every morning at drop-off time.

What’s new?

Our bilingual programmes expanded in August 2021. French bilingual now includes Grade 5, while Chinese bilingual has expanded to select subjects in secondary school. The new Lakeside kindergarten wing opens in mid-2022; it’ll feature a learn-to-swim pool, learning pods, black box theatre and huge Outdoor Discovery Centre.
