TANGLIN TRUST SCHOOL

-

Richard and Clare Coulstock, British; Hannah (17) and Jessica (15)

We’ve lived in Singapore for over 15 years. When Hannah was starting Nursery, we chose Tanglin Trust School because the environment was very friendly and welcoming, and the campus wasn’t too big or daunting for her. We also liked that it was an international school modelled on the British educational system, in case we had to relocate.

Hannah enjoys all the opportunities she’s been given, whether it’s the amazing international trips that happened pre-COVID, the choice between studying IB or A Levels, or the chance to show initiative and contribute to subjects she’s passionate about.

Jessica enjoys having supportive teaching staff and the chance to have a lovely group of multicultural friends.

For both Hannah and Jessica, the Year 9 trip to India and the World Scholars Cup Tournament of Champions trip to Yale were highlights of their time at the school.

THE SCHOOL SAYS…

We’re the oldest British international school in Southeast Asia and the only international school in Singapore to offer A Levels and IB Diploma at Sixth Form. We’re a vibrant co-educational school of 2,800 students with over 50 nationalities. We are a not-for-profit school, with tuition fees devoted to the provision of an outstanding education.

What’s new?

A new state-of-the-art building is under construction. It will house a 50-metre swimming pool, enhanced infant facilities, sports facilities, a Continuing Professional Development centre, exhibition and music spaces as well as a co-working space for parents. The Institute@Tanglin will also be housed here and will offer extensive learning extension through partnerships in the wider community.
