It was 2016 when our expat journey began in Singapore. On our first school visit, we knew CIS was where our children were going to learn and grow. The facilities are topnotch – have you seen the swimming pool!? We also love the sense of community and that you can visit the library on a Saturday! The bilingual programmes are world class and it has a top-rated IB programme, which sees acceptances into some of the best colleges and universities around the globe.

Vanessa is the President of the school’s PTA for the 2022/23 school year. We’ve really enjoyed spending time with other expat parents who have the same vision of bringing the CIS community together. From the beloved PTA Book Fair to Country Meet and Greets, there’s always something going on to bring fun for all and a deep sense of community.

Being so far from home is difficult. Finding your tribe and building lifetime friendships makes living abroad so much easier.

THE SCHOOL SAYS…

CIS prepares students from over 70 nations to own their future through a rigorous global IB curriculum that blends an inquiry-based approach with academic subjects and realworld applications.

What’s new?

Our bilingual programmes expanded in August 2022. French bilingual now includes Senior Kindergarten, while Chinese bilingual has expanded to Nursery and select subjects in secondary school. The new Lakeside kindergarten wing opens in January 2023 and will feature a 25m solar-heated pool, learning pods, a 200seat black box theatre and a 2,600-square-metre Outdoor Discovery Centre.
