We’ve been living in Singapore for over 10 years. We were keen to have our children brought up to be bilingual, so an English and Chinese curriculum was paramount when it came to selecting schools. We spent a long time looking for the right school. With indoor and outdoor play areas, gardens and proximity to Pasir Ris Park, Odyssey de Loyang was an easy choice.

Our children enjoy the walks to Pasir Ris Park and enrichment classes such as ballet, football and gym. They also really enjoy family days, setting up food stalls with baking goods and selling them to friends and parents. It’s great that the children are able to spend time outside of the classroom on the lawn and in the garden. Having quality outdoor time is sometimes hard to come by in a busy city like Singapore.

A WORD FROM THE SCHOOL

Our award- winning curriculum is specifically aimed at exploratory and self-guided learning in a Reggio Emiliainspired campus equipped for an inquiry-based approach, which draws on children’s natural desire to learn and explore. Beyond qualified teaching staff, the school has also invested in a team of specialists to supervise, tailor and curate unique learning experiences for every child. Led by senior programme mentors and centre directors who hold at least a master’s degree, these vocationally-trained specialists contribute their broad expertise to promote holistic and creative development in children.

WHAT’S NEW?

To mark Odyssey’s 10th year anniversary, this year’s Colours of Odyssey charity art exhibition, Exhibition X, reminisces on the evolution of the children’s artistry over 10 years. Children will provide their perspectives on past themes and interpretations of their creations. Find out more about the celebrations on the school website.
