We are a half-aussie, half-brit family so we tend to mix traditions from both countries. Our celebration at home in Singapore will include friends, a barbecue and some mulled wine! – Beth

We either head to East Coast park for a picnic by the sea, to one of the beach clubs on Sentosa or to Wheeler’s Estate. – Alexandra

Though we aren’t Christians, we celebrate Christmas just as much as Deepavali. The morning starts with the kids excitedly opening their presents, followed by a brunch out as a family, including our helper. – Ankita

I head back to Nashville, Tennessee to spend time with my family. I go home for this holiday every year because Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without them. Plus, I’m pretty sure they would never forgive me if I skipped a Christmas at home! – Dana

We have only spent one Christmas here in Singapore, when my daughter and her husband visited us from Sydney. There are a lot of hotels and restaurants that do a special Christmas Day lunch, however we choose to have a family lunch at home. Other than that, we go back home to Sydney or New Zealand for Christmas. – Linda

We’ve been to The Lantern at the Fullerton Bay Hotel a few times. They do a more casual brunch and the kids love the pool, as do the adults! – Lisa

We have gone to Mezza9 at the Hyatt for the past couple of years. They do a lovely Christmas buffet that has traditional Western dishes as well as food found throughout Southeast Asia. There’s something for everyone. – Mel

A long walk in the Botanic Gardens, followed by Raffles Hotel for lunch. – Sophie
