A family’s perspective Parent: Khuza Child: Rumi (18 months)

We’ve been attending the Atelier since June 2017. We absolutely adore the Blue House facilities in both UE Square and Turf City as they provide a conducive setting, incorporating nature elements for infants and toddlers. The outdoor playgroup at Turf City is a perfect avenue for Rumi to explore (and get himself wet and messy, something he can’t always do at home!) in the lovely outdoor setting. We found that at the core of Blue House is a fantastic network of administrators and teachers who are flexible and attentive to the children’s needs. I highly appreciate that Blue House playgroup sessions are centred on child-led play in a diverse atmosphere.

School hours: Varies according to programme ( playgroups, specialist classes and drop- in sessions) School year dates: Open 12 months a year Ages taught: 6 months to 3 years Year established: 2008

A WORD FROM THE SCHOOL

Offering an interactive and sensory- driven programme for parents and children, the Infant & Toddler Atelier at Blue House Nursery & International Preschool has a range of playgroups, specialist classes and drop-in sessions. A child’s development journey begins with the senses; this is how a child makes sense of the world. In our warm and welcoming environment, children will sort, construct, transport and manipulate objects, and interact with light boxes, wind tunnels and magnet walls. Besides these, they’ll also enjoy storytelling, music and songs. Children are free to interact, expanding their social awareness, igniting curiosity and a desire to connect with the world.
