Have cocktail party fashions changed over 10 years? Back then, our tip for readers was: “Use shiny eye shadow to create a smoky look!” We tested readers on their Singapore slang, asking: “What is the name for an object thrown from the upper floors of a residential block, potentially endangering the lives of those below?” (Answer: “Killer litter”) “It’s hot in Hollywood right now.” That’s what we said about the skin tightening treatment called Refirme, pointing out that it had “won over celebrities including Carnie Wilson”.
