The Podium Lounge is back!

Singapore’s annual Formula 1 weekend in September is about more than just world-class motor sport; there’s plenty of partying to be done too! One of the hotspots after the racing each day is The Podium Lounge, which returns to The Ritz- Carlton, Millenia from 14 to 16 September with another great line-up of entertainm­ent. This glitzy after-party will include musical performanc­es by internatio­nal stars, along with fashion launches and catwalks, and the chance to rub shoulders with the rich and famous. Here’s what to expect!

#1 Grooves

On the opening night ( Friday 14 September), catch Keith Duffy and Brian Mcfadden from 90s boy bands Boyzone and Westlife respective­ly. Aside from top hits such as “Flying Without Wings” and “No Matter What”, party-goers can expect loads of laughs and stories as the pair offers a sneak peek into their musical journeys and lives in the spotlight. On Saturday 15 September, the crowd can enjoy tunes from celebrity DJ, record producer and actor Joel Madden. A coach on The Voice Australia since 2012, Joel is also a member of popular rock band Good Charlotte. Performanc­es by talented Taboo of R&b/rap group The Black Eyed Peas will round up the weekend on Sunday 16 September, with club beats that will keep the energy levels pumping.

#2 Fashion

A nightly Fashion Circuit will feature internatio­nal models and celebritie­s, with Friday featuring American streetwear line EGO by Strawn Teague Holme, showcasing hip-hop inspired tracksuits and denims for both men and women. Saturday night will witness the launch of legendary guitar photograph­er Lisa S. Johnson’s new clothing line COSMIC 108, with designs embracing rock and roll and a yogic lifestyle. On Sunday night, feast your eyes on the new collection by LA luxury streetwear designer Mthemoveme­nt and watch as Asia’s Next Top Model host Cindy Bishop and Apl.d.ap of The Black Eyed Peas take on the runway.

#3 Art

Fine art investment gallery Art Works will be featuring pieces by British contempora­ry artist Lincoln Townley. Known for his expressive figurative paintings, Lincoln can count the likes of Charlie Sheen and Al Pacino among his investors. Also, F1 Arts speed painter Armin Flossdorf will return to impress event-goers with his stunning combinatio­n of acrylics and pencil on canvas. Some sparkle will be added by Infiniti Jewels, with an impressive showcase of diamonds, including a rare S$3.34 million 40-carat fancy intense yellow diamond as the centrepiec­e.

#4 Auctions

Take part in live auctions of authentic rare F1 memorabili­a throughout the weekend. With all proceeds going to charity, highlights include a Lewis Hamilton signed race glove, a Niki Lauda signed and framed eight-by-twelve inch photo, and a Michael Schumacher signed fullsize F1 helmet.
