The Podium Lounge is back!

Sin­ga­pore’s an­nual For­mula 1 week­end in Septem­ber is about more than just world-class mo­tor sport; there’s plenty of par­ty­ing to be done too! One of the hotspots af­ter the rac­ing each day is The Podium Lounge, which re­turns to The Ritz- Carl­ton, Mil­lenia from 14 to 16 Septem­ber with an­other great line-up of en­ter­tain­ment. This glitzy af­ter-party will in­clude mu­si­cal per­for­mances by in­ter­na­tional stars, along with fash­ion launches and cat­walks, and the chance to rub shoul­ders with the rich and fa­mous. Here’s what to ex­pect!

#1 Grooves

On the open­ing night ( Fri­day 14 Septem­ber), catch Keith Duffy and Brian Mc­fad­den from 90s boy bands Boy­zone and Westlife re­spec­tively. Aside from top hits such as “Fly­ing With­out Wings” and “No Mat­ter What”, party-go­ers can ex­pect loads of laughs and sto­ries as the pair of­fers a sneak peek into their mu­si­cal jour­neys and lives in the spot­light. On Satur­day 15 Septem­ber, the crowd can en­joy tunes from celebrity DJ, record pro­ducer and ac­tor Joel Mad­den. A coach on The Voice Aus­tralia since 2012, Joel is also a mem­ber of pop­u­lar rock band Good Char­lotte. Per­for­mances by ta­lented Taboo of R&b/rap group The Black Eyed Peas will round up the week­end on Sun­day 16 Septem­ber, with club beats that will keep the en­ergy lev­els pump­ing.

#2 Fash­ion

A nightly Fash­ion Cir­cuit will fea­ture in­ter­na­tional mod­els and celebri­ties, with Fri­day fea­tur­ing Amer­i­can streetwear line EGO by Strawn Teague Holme, show­cas­ing hip-hop in­spired track­suits and den­ims for both men and women. Satur­day night will wit­ness the launch of leg­endary gui­tar pho­tog­ra­pher Lisa S. John­son’s new cloth­ing line COS­MIC 108, with de­signs em­brac­ing rock and roll and a yo­gic life­style. On Sun­day night, feast your eyes on the new col­lec­tion by LA lux­ury streetwear de­signer Mthe­move­ment and watch as Asia’s Next Top Model host Cindy Bishop and Apl.d.ap of The Black Eyed Peas take on the run­way.

#3 Art

Fine art in­vest­ment gallery Art Works will be fea­tur­ing pieces by Bri­tish con­tem­po­rary artist Lin­coln Town­ley. Known for his ex­pres­sive fig­u­ra­tive paint­ings, Lin­coln can count the likes of Char­lie Sheen and Al Pa­cino among his in­vestors. Also, F1 Arts speed painter Ar­min Floss­dorf will re­turn to im­press event-go­ers with his stun­ning com­bi­na­tion of acrylics and pen­cil on can­vas. Some sparkle will be added by In­finiti Jewels, with an im­pres­sive show­case of di­a­monds, in­clud­ing a rare S$3.34 mil­lion 40-carat fancy in­tense yel­low di­a­mond as the cen­tre­piece.

#4 Auc­tions

Take part in live auc­tions of au­then­tic rare F1 mem­o­ra­bilia through­out the week­end. With all pro­ceeds go­ing to char­ity, high­lights in­clude a Lewis Hamil­ton signed race glove, a Niki Lauda signed and framed eight-by-twelve inch photo, and a Michael Schu­macher signed full­size F1 hel­met.
