Under the Hammer!

Expat Living (Singapore) - - Home & Property - Matthew Elton, Hotlotz owner and chief auctioneer.

Do you have cash in your closet? Hotlotz is getting ready for the festive season early; we’re already looking for consignment for our Christmas auctions. Now’s the time to look through your wardrobes and jewellery boxes, and send Hotlotz the things you no longer need and make some extra spending money for the end of the year!

Items that we are particularly interested in include well-stored wine, jewellery, watches, designer handbags (including men’s bags, which are always popular), designer fashion, good-quality tableware, and anything else that will make a great gift or spruce up a Christmas table.

What’s our process? We make it as simple as possible for you. Send us an email or fill in our online form with a brief description and photo of your items. We value, photograph and advertise the auction for you; all you have to do is get your items to us! We can even pick them up for you, if you prefer.

There are no costs upfront. If we agree to sell your items, all we do is take a commission of 19.5 percent on the final hammer price, so you keep 80.5 percent of the final price. We charge the buyer, then deduct our commission before transferring the balance directly to your bank account. It couldn’t be simpler!

Sarah Pope’s True Love,
