House of Anli Bistrot

-

#03-17 Tanglin Mall, 163 Tanglin Road 6235 3851 | houseofanli.com/the-bistrot

Located at the always kid-friendly Tanglin Mall, this hidden gem is situated within the House of Anli home interiors store, beloved for its selection of European furnishings, upholstery and home accessories. No surprise, then, that the dining space at the back is beautifully decorated, with wall-towall windows creating a light and airy feel – in fact, you’ll forget that you’re eating in a mall in the first place!

Brand new to the bistro, which serves an all- day, Belgian- inspired menu, is an extensive kids’ menu for children eight and below. The “Le Petits d’anli” selection has over 30 items to choose from, making it pretty much impossible for even the most fickle les enfants not to find something to order; we’re talking everything from French toast ( pain perdu; $8), granola parfait ($8) and organic eggs on a waffle ($18) from the breakfast selection ( available until 5pm) to cheese risotto with veggies ($14), Impossible sliders ($18), pasta and meatballs ($14), and mini moussaka ($14). Even the kids’ drinks menu is massive, with babyccinos, milkshakes, smoothies and juice options for your mini-me to enjoy, including sparkling Belgian fruit juice ($18 per bottle) that comes in two flavours.

To finish, choose a dessert from over a dozen items, from homemade crumble ($14) and speculoos cheesecake ($14) to gluten-free brownies ($8) and a selection of artisanal ice creams ($6 to $10).
