We relocated from Thailand in February 2008. As we decided not to ship our household effects (furniture, dishware, linen and so on), a serviced apartment was the perfect fit.

A contact in Singapore with a lot of experience around the housing market had recommended Fraser Suites. We made a preliminary visit there and immediately decided it had everything we were looking for: great floor plan, quality furnishings, a well-earned reputation for excellence in service, and a location close to groceries, restaurants and public transportation.

We live in a four-bedroom apartment on the 20th (top) floor, with access to a large balcony on the main floor where we can barbecue and tend to our herb garden, and a rooftop deck the size of the entire apartment. Downstairs has two areas divided by the kitchen/laundry room – the living/dining room and the study inside the front door – plus the balcony. The bedrooms and bathrooms are at the other end. We really like the spacious layout.

When we arrived, we initially lived in a three-bedroom unit on the same floor. Zachary was born in 2009, and when he was about one, Fraser began a significant upgrade that entailed lots of noise, making daily naptime a challenge. So, we moved to another serviced apartment. When our one-year lease there was up, we knew we wanted to move back to a Fraser property. We temporarily moved to Fraser Residence until the Fraser Suites renovation was done and we could come back “home”. With a new member in our family, we moved into the larger, four-bedroom apartment next door to our earlier one. We’ve been there happily ever since.

We love our home so much that we recommend staying here to others frequently. In fact, the current inhabitants of our first apartment are friends who made the decision to go to Fraser based on our enthusiastic description! We’re grateful this was the first and only option recommended to us 12 years ago. We love it.
