English afternoon tea

While away the afternoon with an extended têteà-tête over an elegant high tea session with Mum or the girlfriends! Pan Pacific Singapore’s signature English afternoon tea is available for dine-in at the hotel, or takeaway for your in-home experience.

Held at Atrium and Pacific Marketplace, the popular three-tiered afternoon tea is offered through the week; Monday to Thursday from 2.30pm to 5.30pm; and Friday to Sunday from 12.30pm to 3pm and 3.15pm to 5.45pm. Atrium’s relaxed ambience suits every kind of gathering, so if you’re making a booking, we recommend requesting one of the pretty seating pods that float over the reflection pool. It makes for a more intimate experience, plus you get a fab backdrop for photos!

For a more casual setting, dine at Pacific Marketplace, a gourmet grocery and café located right next to Atrium. If you’re still hungry after the high tea, there’s an extensive selection of savoury sandwiches, salads and handcrafted cakes to choose from.

Treats and tea

Sweets take centre stage here, with Executive Pastry Chef Eddy Yau helming the kitchen. Dessert lovers will love the dainty treats, including a matcha yuzu tartlet, dark chocolate pear caramel, and strawberry pistachio choux, as well as Muscat cheesecake, a no-bake cake made with Muscat grapes from France. Not to be missed are the scones (plain or raisin), served with whipped cream and preserves.

For savouries, tuck into light bites like the beef pastrami sandwich or the sun-dried tomato pesto sandwich with eggplant and mint. The humble ham sandwich is also given an upgrade with shaved Virginia ham and truffle mayonnaise – delightful!

Each set ($38 per person) comes with two drinks of your choice; options include brewed Lavazza coffee, premium TWG teas and refreshing coldbrew tea infusions such as earl grey with orange, cinnamon and ginger.
