Meet the labels

Tell us about yourself! Where are you from?

I’m a born-and-bred proud Singaporean! I’ve lived here all of my life and, as luck would have it, met my husband some 40 odd years ago at the Singapore Cricket Club; he was a cricketer and I played field hockey – the rest is history!

How would you describe your personal style?

I’m a smart-casual kinda gal! I always prioritise comfort, but gravitate towards certain styles and well-shaped garments that flatter my figure and hide my “bits”! I love bold colours too, especially bright blues and greens.

Tell us about the brand.

Change Lingerie was started in Singapore about 10 years ago by a Danish lady called Mette Holte Jensen who brought the franchise over from Denmark. I stumbled across the store as a customer and we got chatting. I could relate to their purpose as I’ve always found it challenging to find lingerie that fits in Singapore. Most stores only cater to smaller frames, which is frustrating for women of our shape. When Mette was posted back to Denmark and was looking to sell the business, I immediately put my hand up.

With a broad selection of designs and fits, Change Lingerie lets all women enjoy lingerie. The right fit can visibly flatter your frame and also make a real difference to your posture and confidence. We take such pleasure when our customers love what they see in the mirror when they try on our sets, and it’s a great testament when they pass on the recommendation to their friends.

Any exciting changes on the horizon for Change Lingerie?

We have two new collections that come in annually. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, our stock delivery was delayed, but we’re happy to announce that it has now arrived!

The colours and neutral shades of the new collection are gorgeous – there’s something for everyone! The low wire triangle style has also gained lots of popularity; it enhances the wearer’s natural silhouette and is incredibly comfortable to wear, especially now with many of us working from home.

Any words of wisdom for aspiring entrepreneurs?

You have to know your product inside and out – and, most importantly, love the products that you’re selling. I’m a natural advocate for Change Lingerie because I know it will bring confidence to others!

Any other tips on other great finds at Cluny Court?

There are so many hidden gems at Cluny! Rosalie Pompon and Paris & Me have some beautiful styles that suit all sizes, and Simone Irani has gorgeous colours for a beach break. The Big Blow is my go-to when I want to style my hair for a special occasion.
