We've been living in Singapore for 10 years and both girls started Dulwich in August 2020. Zara attends the preschool programme, while Siena started in the Junior School. There's a nice Dulwich community in Sentosa where we live and we only heard good things about the school. Hearing from Dulwich parents about their experiences was a big part of why we chose the school, in addition to the warmth from teachers and staff, and the facilities. We could feel the “life” of the school and wanted our kids to be part of it.

Zara's had a great and smooth start to her school life (considering she's only two, a little crying is expected!). The teachers and staff are truly loving and patient, aware about her needs and worries. They were also very patient with me (Paula) when I was nervous on her first day. Head of DUCKS Mrs Woodward personally called me and reported how Zara was doing. The Early Years' classrooms are on the ground floor, with sliding doors that open outdoors where children can enjoy fun activities prepared by the teachers or free play. They enjoy the best of both worlds: an amazing classroom with impressive digital boards (Zara's crazy about doodling on them) and play-based corners and the porch with water, sand, mud and rideons. Zara also has a Mandarin teacher in class, interacting and working with the children all day. Mandarin songs are Zara's favourite as she's a music lover.

We'd definitely recommend Dulwich. The competence and commitment of the Headmaster, Heads of School and teachers and the top-notch facilities are just the beginning. Attention to individual growth and guidance are also a priority.
