Global Indian
International School
Our son Satvikk has been attending the Global Montessori Programme at Global Indian International School's SMART Campus since July 2020. The proximity to home and the school's infrastructure were primary factors in sending him there, while the dedicated teachers and good academic performance were others. The school's preparedness during the pandemic further impressed us. This included not allowing parents inside the campus, providing easy access to virtual classrooms, doing constant temperature checks, wearing masks and face shields, amongst others. The school easily and effectively transitioned to virtual teaching and learning.
The teachers provide many opportunities for children to play and have fun. Through activities such as planting seeds, outdoor play and exercise, children gain a love for nature and their surroundings. Satvikk's teacher in-charge Ms Shilpa, who has a passion for dance, effectively integrates movement for a more engaging and meaningful classroom environment. The teachers' love and patience also makes the children emotionally secure and helps them build self-esteem and gain confidence. Satvikk mentioned that when one of his newer classmates cried, the teacher lovingly comforted the child. The Global Montessori Programme focuses on multifaceted development among preschoolers, helping them become confident for the next stage in school, and develop a love for learning and an inquisitive mind. Apart from academics, the children are also exposed to arts and crafts, song, dance and free play. These activities promote a real love for learning and creativity. For example, the children recently went on a fun virtual zoo visit. There's never a dull moment at the school!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the school as it's a happy place to be at. Caring teachers, an academic curriculum and an inclusive environment are some of the outstanding factors, in addition to the infrastructure and vibrant learning environment.
