Whole: 11 Universal Truths For An Inspired Life

What is your book about?

It’s a practical self-help book designed to take a deep-dive into the psychology of happiness and the evolution of the human spirit. The premise is geared towards addressing the “11 Key Virtues” of what constitutes a happy life (integrity, humility, altruism, forgiveness, willpower and more), and the book is written from the perspective of my own personal stories combined with well-researched neuroscience.

What inspired you to write it?

I yearned to go deep into the human mind to understand what makes us “fearful” of life; the factors that block us from success; the behavioural characteristics we need to master to perform better; and how to really take care of ourselves.

What do you hope readers take away from your book?

I see it as a self-help toolbox someone can turn to easily when they’re feeling psychologically stuck – whether they’re confused about their purpose in life, wanting to overcome imposter syndrome, looking to override anxiety or solve relationships issues, and more. Whole encompasses a gamut of issues we face on a daily basis. I hope readers get the same energy and wisdom I did as I was writing it.

What’s your day job?

I’m an NLP Life Coach and Corporate Trainer by profession. I spend my days conducting private and group coaching sessions within Singapore-based institutes, private groups and multinational companies.
