With three courses of increasing difficulty, everyone in the family can have their go at tackling the treetops! The Kids course includes 22 crossings and two zip lines. The Junior course has 26 crossings, with one of the two zip lines going across the reservoir water. And the Grand course has 44 crossings, including a Tarzan swing and three zip lines across the reservoir.
Safety is the utmost concern at Forest Adventure. All participants have to go through a 20-minute safety briefing before they can start. The harnesses used by participants are inspected monthly and checked before and after each participant’s usage. They’re attached to a belay system from the start of the course until they touch the ground at the end of the zip line. There’s also a continuous safety line along all courses and the Forest Adventure instructors are on the ground keeping an eye on participants. All instructors are first aid certified, with the majority holding a certification from the National Coaching Accreditation Programme and registration with the Singapore Ministry of Education. They also undergo five days of specialised training facilitation before starting as a Forest Adventure instructor.
