Time for High Tea
Available until 30 November is “An Artful High Tea”, a special collaboration between Sofitel Singapore City Centre and The Art Faculty. The afternoon tea takes place at the hotel’s stylish coffee bar Coffea, where you will be presented with a limited-edition two-tiered box. The artwork on this one-ofa-kind box was created by Selena Seow, a gifted artist from The Art Faculty, a social enterprise by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore). The afternoon tea costs $108 for two on weekdays and $118 on weekends. 9 Wallich Street.
Elevated Bar Grub
Saigon brewery bar Heart of Darkness has expanded its menu with new food and beverage options! Start with a side of meatless nachos with vegetarian chilli, house-made guacamole, sour cream and jalapenos ($14), and then tuck into meaty picks like char siew beef short ribs – slow cooked for 14 hours and doused in a special sauce made with Merciless Phantom Reserve Imperial Stout. If you’re visiting with friends, share the taco platter ($65), which includes eight tacos and a generous portion of nachos, or go with the meat platter ($95): sausages, beef brisket, short rib and pork belly. Then wash it all down with freshoff-the-tap brews like Futile Purpose Cucumber Pilsner and Director’s Cacao Nib Porter. There’s also a fab range of cocktails and natural wines if you prefer something different. 1 Keong Saik Road. 6208 7940 | heartofdarknessbrewery.com.sg
