THE EXHIBITION TO VISIT: HERMES’ “THROUGH THE WALLS”
Beautiful leather homeware, free design talks and IG-worthy backdrops should distract you from those Lindys and Constances.
Any exhibition by the French maison is a fun, visual trip, but what makes this a miss-and-regret-it kind of experience? It’s a world’s first, happening Oct 7-29 across two floors of its Liat Towers flagship. The cooler part, though, is that it spotlights the brand’s homeware department that’s often overshadowed by its Lindys and Constances. Expect the likes of a vanity table-meets-scarf cabinet, arty wallpaper and Modernist-style crockery made from leather, all set against scenography by A-list set designers Jean-Christophe Vaillant and Herve Sauvage. Word has it that everything’s available for order, but even if they aren’t, there are still the free design talks and workshops.
