THE SERIOUSLY SEXY FRAGRANCE
It smells like a cross between an ultra feminine perfume and a men’s cologne.
Justin Timberlake singing about “bringing sexy back” might be 11 years old (yep, it’s not cool anymore – really), but there’s no better way to describe Bulgari’s Goldea The Roman Night EDP ($151). Opening with notes of mulberry and black peony, the warm, luscious scent mellows into a heart of night-blooming jasmine and tuberose, before reaching its deep, black musk base. The result: an oddly modern and enticing cross between an ultra feminine perfume and a cologne. Even the packaging is unabashedly come-hither: a rounded black glass flacon accented by the scale motif from the brand’s Serpenti jewellery collection.
