HAIRCUT: William Ong, Director of Next Salon. He’s been my hairdresser since I was 18 and is fantastic with short hair My hair is rather thick and has weird kinks—but he really knows how to manage it and give me a cut that lasts, everytime.

GYM OR FITNESS TRAINER: I go to Kwan Yao at Fitness First Fusionpolis. He customises programmes for me that work in spite of my bad back, and ensures that I don’t overstrain or hurt myself. I also train with Daniel and Laura from Focus Pilates for one-on-one sessions. Their back-care class is very effective for strengthening the back and legs.

BODY AND FOOT MASSAGE: Chief therapist Ming at Qi Mantra in Wheelock Place is the best at kneading out my bad back, but she’s extremely hard to get hold of, so be sure to get an appointment with her way in advance. For foot massages, I love Natureland at Robertson Quay as most of their therapists are great and they are open 24 hours.

AESTHETIC TREATMENT: Dr Patricia Yuen at Paragon Medical Centre. I regularly get a vitamin C treatment to manage my pigments and microdermabrasions to get rid of stubborn black and white heads. My face always feels squeaky clean after. I also use products from her skincare line— Skin Sense by Dr Patricia Yuen—as they work wonders. I love her Essential Smoother, pigment lightener, Helio Care sunblock and oral sunblock pills.

MOISTURISER AND SERUM: I use a lot of calming natural products from Decléor. Their Energizing Gel awakens and refreshes your skin, and is brilliant for our humidity as it doesn’t clog like creamy moisturisers. I interchange that with their Radiance Smoothing Cream in the day as it also serves as a good moisturiser base before makeup. At night, I use Aromaessence Iris Serum followed by the Lift and Firm Day Cream in the Prolagene Lift Series. In dry and cold countries, I use Decléor’s Aroma Night Balm and Amore Pacific’s Moisture Bound Vitalizing Masque, which is a leave-in overnight mask that I can sleep in. It magically hydrates.

LIP COLOUR: Without a doubt, Tom Ford Beauty for lipsticks. lips Scarlet Rouge is fabulous if you’re looking for a red shade, sha and Nubile and Indian Rose are lovely for nude and light lighter shades. If you’re looking for a lip gloss, NARS Super Org Orgasm and Le Metier De Beaute’s Ibiza Lip Gloss deliver an ama amazing pop of colours. It’s a pity the latter isn’t available in Singa Singapore, but you can get it easily at Joyce Beauty in Hon Hong Kong.
