This season,Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri dug deep into Dior’s vast archives, dressing her models in all shades of blue— one of the colours most favoured by Christian Dior—and giving a cool new spin to a classic from Marc Bohan’s tenure. Like musical symbols dancing gracefully across a score, the “D” monogramed Oblique canvas fabric created by Bohan in the ’70s has been remixed onto the Dioraddict flap bag. Its fastener is inspired by old trunks, while the detachable metal chain-link strap gets a cool update with a guitar strap adorned with silver medals.
