Harper's Bazaar (Singapore) - - THE COLLECTIONS -

Regarded as one of the bastions of contemporary all-American style, Michael Kors has built an empire by advocating a fuss-free—but no less glamorous— approach to dressing up. A quick glance at his latest outing of clashing prints and textures might surprise purists, but it is precisely in the incoherence that the collection’s whole feels greater than the sum of its parts. Kors wanted to create that feeling of dressing up and choosing all the “favourite things” in your wardrobe, so he went all out and mixed punkish tartans with utilitarian camouflage prints, and matched varsity jerseys with sequinned pants to get the point across.
