Harper's Bazaar (Singapore) - - THE COLLECTIONS -

Consider every Loewe collection a much-needed reprieve from the fanfare of trend-chasing: Jonathan Anderson, who sees his job at the Spanish luxury brand more as a “cultural curator”, has never bothered himself with following conventions. For fall, the English designer offered an introspective presentation that was a skilful application of the House’s expertise—supple leather was used to craft a myriad of outerwear, or used as panels on beautiful smocks, pants and column dresses. Between twists of colourful yarn, punctuations of skin and deconstructed tailoring, the bold strokes that Anderson used to illustrate his ideal of the Loewe woman became even clearer.
