UNDER THE SEA
Tiffany & Co. has always been a company that stands by sustainability, supporting causes like coral conservation and eschewing the use of coral in its designs for nearly two decades. This year sees the American luxury brand stepping up its efforts to aid conservation for the Great Barrier Reef. Committing US$1 million to the cause, Tiffany & Co. helped develop the Great Barrier Reef Foundation’s Out of the Blue Box Innovation Challenge, an initiative that aims to gather ideas from across the finance, technology and social science sectors, focusing on boosting the reef ’s recovery and resilience. The winning concept earns a prize of up to US$225,000, so visit outofthebluebox. org to see how you can contribute.
