TRACK STARS

Harper's Bazaar (Singapore) - - THE CULTURE -

Three years since their last album, TakeHeart, homegrown pop band, The Sam Willows are finally back with album number two: I Know,ButWhere. Rather than follow mainstream EDM-inspired acts, this 11-track sophomore album doesn’t have any lyrical clichés of hookups and boozefuelled good times. Instead, underneath the pulsing beats, are layers of acoustic guitar riffs, R&B grooves and tear-jerking songs about depression (“Robot”), ambition (“Papa Money”) and other topics that this generation can definitely relate to.
