Whether it’s iridescent painterly eyes or edgy spikes of kohl, the devil’s in the details when it comes to fall’s beauty eccentricities.

ELECTRIC SIRENS Finger-painting has never been a more credible makeup technique than it is today. Think: Watercolour lids or smudged, freehand liners. Amplify this painterly look with electric shades in a metallic finish, found in Tom Ford Beauty’s Eye Quad in Last Dance, then generously apply Hourglass’ 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner to your waterline for extra definition. Keep your brushes in reach to neaten the edges where needed, and punch up the look even further with red and hot pink swipes of Dior Rouge Ultra Rouge in 999 Ultra Dior and 660 Ultra Atomic respectively. Slicked hair with a severe side part will then take this look from kind of crazy to crazy cool. From left: Jacket; dress, Alexander Wang
