The Prada Express
Paragon became the railway station of fashion dreams with the arrival of the Prada Silver Line, a travelling pop-up reminiscent of streamliners of the ’30s and ’50s—but better, decked in floral silk brocade and filled with coveted Prada luxuries. Harper’s BAZAAR hopped right on with some specially invited “passengers” who got the first-class treatment from train conductors in sharp black livery, while lifesize Prada Robot porters pushed trolleys carrying everything from the Italian brand’s iconic nylon pieces to exclusive studded Elektra bags—inspired by the iconic comic book heroine. Associate Fashion News Editor, Gerald Tan was also on board to take guests on a trip through Prada’s history of travel trunks and the exclusive pieces on the train, which made Singapore the final stop of its Asian voyage.
