When Giulio Marangoni founded Istituto Marangoni in Milan in 1935, he could only imagine today his name would appear on 10 school buildings in the most vibrant capitals of the world, like Milan, Paris, London and Florence. Leading player in private higher education in fashion, design and art, in over 8 decades Istituto Marangoni saw the flourishin­g of Italian fashion, taking active part in the conversati­on of what the future holds for the fashion industry while training young talents. A story of passion, dedication and success that continues to grow as isti-tuto Marangoni opens new doors and expands its academic offering in or-der to adapt to the everchangi­ng market demands, from Fashion Design courses to business-focused curricula aimed at a direct entry into the industry. While remaining faithful to its distinctiv­e Italian identity and edu-cational method, Istituto Marangoni's network of schools welcomes over 4,000 students each year hailing from 107 different countries. Trained by internatio­nally renowned tutors with the support of experts in the fields and links with the most prestigiou­s brands, Istituto Marangoni's Alumni community includes some exceptiona­l examples of talent and genius such as Domenico Dolce, Franco Moschino and Alessandro Sartori (creative director of Zegna Group). Some of the present emerging talents graduated from Istituto Marangoni include the owner of the brand Ricostru. the Chinese designer Rico Manchit Au. Chosen by Giorgio Armani to present her collection at the prestigiou­s ArmanifTea­tro, her work features a clear minimalist style, a fluid dialogue between tradition and future, high-tech and craftsmans­hip; va-lues she has learned during her stay in Italy. Yoon Choon Ho, a young Korean designer, launched his own brand, YCH, in 2006 which has since been included in Seoul Fashion Week and prai-sed by internatio­nal celebritie­s such as Rihanna. The human and profession­al story of Rahul Mishra represents another example of different influences and expertise that have proven to be es-sential for success. From India, with a Master's degree at Istituto Maran-goni, he chose to go back to his country to combine in his women-swear the classic aesthetic of Made in Italy with traditiona­l Indian elements. His unique style led him to the Paris Fashion Week, where he has quickly be-come a favourite of the French press and is now I'M Ambassador for the Paris School of Fashion. Throughout the years Istituto Marangoni has been a centre of the highest training standards and a reference for the entire fashion industry which continues to look at the School as the leader in forging the fashion profession­als of the future.
