Maryling is a seven-year-old brand founded on the premise of providing women with wardrobe essentials remixed with just the right amount of edge. Art is an important source of inspiration for the label, and the new season saw it reference the works of Alexander Calder. Patterns and textures on oversized sweaters and masculine jackets have been conceptualised to evoke Calder’s pioneering sculptures, while billowing dresses and skirts lent a hypnotic sense of movement.
