FA L L NOTES
While the th only autumnal indication we have here are pumpkin spice lattes, that shouldn’t stop you from getting into the mood with these warmer fragrances
th Gucci’s Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori is overtly floral but goes deeper than its predecessors with more woody notes of ginger and rose that soften down to layers of patchouli, musk and osmanthus. Boucheron’s Santal De Kandy ventures into the land of spicy florals with black pepper and cardamom swirling around jasmine and powdery violet, before culminating with cedar, patchouli and sandalwood. Tom Ford’s Vanille Fatale gets sensual with rich, creamy vanilla that’s balanced with an elegant, toasty blend of roasted barley, smoky coffee, spicy saffron and balsamic myrrh. Alaïa Paris’ Eau de Parfum Nude tantalises with the smell of cake by the fire—think tonka bean, cardamom and orange blossom, fused with a comforting woody muskiness from amber and cedar.
