The ’60s never really went away.And considering it was the fabulous decade that gave us the Youthquake, Twiggy, miniskirts and the Beatles, it’s easy to see why designers keep going back in time to mine this era for the future. For cruise, the period’s influence returned in the form of modish prints that exploded across sublime pleated dresses, statement coats and sensual dresses.At Fendi, bursts of colour and print gave rise to a quirky optical effect, while Givenchy’s abstract florals were contrasted with a stark white band for more flash.
