PUBLIC HOTEL IN NEW YORK
Prada’s Herzog & de Meuron-designed headquarters in New York was the setting for the brand’s show, with floating panels that reflected the cityscape and an augmented sunset. Public Hotel, the latest offering by hotelier extraordinaire Ian Schrager, is also designed by the awardwinning Swiss firm and sits in the Lower East Side. Schrager has avoided traditional, mostly irrelevant services and amenities, updating them with modern equivalents like mobile and self-check in.
