I’m addicted to… Cleansing balms. It started in Paris, while having a facial treatment at Jo elle Ciocco. It was all because of… My therapist, who told me that double cleansing at night leaves my skin (which is sensitive) clean enough when I wake up, so a spritz of toner or water is sufficient to wash sleep away. She encouraged me to opt for balms or cleansing milks over stripping facial washes, then add hemp oil and minerals in ampoule form to my skin (the kind I raided French pharmacies for years till the specific lab went out of business). Myself-care ritual is… Magical, theatrical, and so nourishing. If you’re an empath like me, you need to take time out to recalibrate and recharge. Having my own in-house spa with treatments on call. Perhaps even a little wellness centre out back with water therapy, yoga and other healing modalities. Everyone’s invited, of course!
