FLOWER POWER
Looking into the past is a major part of Alessandro Michele’s design process. For Gucci’s Epilogue collection, he turned to the works of “the gardener of fashion”, American designer Ken Scott, whose hyper-bold prints of peonies, poppies, roses and sunflowers helped define the freewheeling exuberance of the 1960s and ’70s. Those archival prints have now been transferred onto an expansive capsule collection that spans tracksuits and tailoring, shoes, silks and bags.
