COMEBACK KIDS
If a closer look at the spring/summer 2021 collections gives you déjà vu, that’s because a few designers have chosen to revisit their oeuvres. Most notably, Alessandro Michele at Gucci looked to his debut collection for fall/winter 2015, reviving the pussybow blouses and fur-lined loafers that look just as winning today. At Coach, Stuart Vevers also collapsed seasons, freely mixing new designs with his greatest hits, such as the Basquiat collaboration and the Apollo sweater from his first collection.
