FROM HERE TO ETERNITY

“May he click into eternity,” said David Bowie of Masayoshi Sukita, a Japanese photographer who shared a 40-year friendship with the late music icon, while documenting London’s punk era and the 1970s American rock scene. Presenting the best of his five-decade-long oeuvre, Eternity is a 256-page labour of love that spans the 83-year-old lensman’s fashion photography, celebrity portraits and lesser-known travel visuals—providing insights into why Iggy Pop has declared Sukita the photographer he trusts the most.
