FOODIE’S DREAM
What do you get when you bring together the world’s top-ranking restaurant and locally grown produce amidst a lush botanical setting? Only the most memorable gastronomical experience to make friends go green with envy. Till 4 September, Mirazur, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant that took top spot on the 2019 World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, will be taking over the kitchens at Mandala Club (formerly known as Straits Clan). The residency will serve up a six-course lunch ($388++) and a nine-course dinner ($488++) that are in keeping with Mirazur’s 0-kilometre ethos. What that essentially means is that you can expect to forgo the usual menu for three-week-long themes—Leaves, Flowers, Roots and Fruits—created with locally sourced ingredients. To complete the experience is a dining setting that will also evolve with the themes, thanks to award-winning botanical design studio This Humid House. Visit mandala.club to make a reservation.
