You couldn’t have missed Tiffany & Co.’s “About Love” campaign, which has set the digital and social media spheres abuzz. Starring A-list couple Beyoncé and JAY-Z, the campaign shows Beyoncé looking every inch the queen that she is in a black Holly Golightly-esque Givenchy dress with Tiffany’s world-famed diamond around her neck, as her husband lovingly looks on. Yet, for all the star power that the Carters bring to the table, this latest partnershi­p with the American luxury house goes far beyond diamonds, Basquiat paintings or listening to “Moon River” in Queen Bey’s sultry tones: Close on the heels of the project launch, Tiffany announced its partnershi­p with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation to launch the Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarshi­p programme, which sees Tiffany pledging US$2 million (about S$2.7 million) in scholarshi­p funding for students in the arts and creative fields at five Historical­ly Black Colleges and Universiti­es (HBCUs).
