You couldn’t have missed Tiffany & Co.’s “About Love” campaign, which has set the digital and social media spheres abuzz. Starring A-list couple Beyoncé and JAY-Z, the campaign shows Beyoncé looking every inch the queen that she is in a black Holly Golightly-esque Givenchy dress with Tiffany’s world-famed diamond around her neck, as her husband lovingly looks on. Yet, for all the star power that the Carters bring to the table, this latest partnership with the American luxury house goes far beyond diamonds, Basquiat paintings or listening to “Moon River” in Queen Bey’s sultry tones: Close on the heels of the project launch, Tiffany announced its partnership with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation to launch the Tiffany & Co. About Love Scholarship programme, which sees Tiffany pledging US$2 million (about S$2.7 million) in scholarship funding for students in the arts and creative fields at five Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
