GARDEN STROLL
Knighted British artist Antony Gormley is famed for sculptures and installations that explore the interaction between a human body and the space it occupies. His latest installation at National Gallery Singapore’s Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Gallery stays true to that premise. Titled Horizon Field Singapore, it invites visitors to co-create their experience of the space by walking through a matrix of aluminium rings. To complement this are three other Gormley sculptures— Sense (1991), CloseV (1998) and Ferment (2007)—located around the Gallery to provide a dialogue to the artist’s study of the human body and its environment. On till 30 October 2022.
