Sotheby’s (sothebys.com) has partnered with Wong Kar Wai to offer two lots in its Marquee Modern Art Evening sale on 9 October. In addition to “Heartbreak Tango – Yellow Jacket”, the leather jacket worn by the late lead actor Leslie Cheung in the 1997 cult film HappyTogether, the director’s first NFT creation,
IntheMoodforLove – Day One, will also be offered. It reveals never-before-seen footage from the critically acclaimed 2000 film, with actors Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung portraying characters utterly different from the ones we know and love.
