Bvlgari has introduced four new Serpenti Misteriosi High Jewellery secret watches and their beauty goes beyond skin deep.

For one, they’re equipped with the jeweller’s new Piccolissimo mechanical movement, the BVL100 calibre, which sees 102 components miniaturised into a micro movement just 12.30mm in diameter (that’s smaller than a 5-cent coin) and 2.50mm thick (it weighs just 1.30g). Then there’s the fact that the diamond-studded watch unit can be easily detached from its serpentine frame, turned around and reinserted, so you can wear the jewellery watch on either hand comfortably. It’s the perfect balance of form and function.
