Home-grown jeweller RISIS has a brand new look and outlook, and to help get the message out, it has teamed up with four local fashion designers to reinterpret its Iconic Orchids collection. Lai Chan presents classic glamour with his Ascocenda Orchid range that looks to graphic latticework trellises for inspiration. From Ling Wu comes the medallion-like Vanda Limbata Orchid designs with gleaming black bringing its flowers to the foreground. Sylvia Lim of Triologie’s Phalaenopsis Cornu Cervi Orchid pieces promise Peranakan motifs with a vibrant splash of red, while Elyn Wong of Stolen tackles the subject head-on with bold tassels and multi-wear functionality rounding up the lot.
