DALÍ’S DREAM

Take inspiration from the surrealists, and find beauty in the unexpected and the unconventional. Yellow cheek contours? Why not? Asymmetrical blusher? Bring it on. Set up the dreamy landscape with a generous dose of bright pink—such as M.A.C’s Glow Play Blush in No Shame! ($50)—all over the eyes, extending the colour upward, towards the temple and forehead, on one side and downward, towards the cheekbone, on the other. Then up the whimsy with outsize horizontal Vs at the outer corners of the eyes, given feathery lower lash details—our weapon of choice is KVD Vegan Beauty’s Tattoo Liner ($34), which gives pigmented lines with a brush tip that is easy to control. Finish by using a yellow eyeshadow like Sample Beauty’s Single Eyeshadow in School Bus (about S$6) as a cheek highlighter.
