THROUGH TIME
Gucci’s third chapter of its Hortus Deliciarum high jewellery collection sees Creative Director Alessandro Michele journeying through time and space with influences that reach back to the mid-19th century and the 1970s; and inspiration coming in the form of Roman architecture and landscapes to the beauty of the gems itself. It’s an esoteric range (more so than the previous chapters) with the jewels almost playing the part of ‘souvenirs’ gathered from Michele’s mental expeditions—but all with the distinctive look that marks them as being of the House of Gucci at a glance.
