STEPPING OUT IN STYLES

-

Some of Harry Styles’ most memorable looks have been courtesy of Gucci’s Alessandro Michele. So the surprise isn’t that the pair have finally, officially collaborated but that it has taken this long. Presented during the most recent Men’s Fashion Week in Milan, Gucci HA HA HA is a collection born from the creative exchanges between the two friends— its name references both their initials (Harry and Alessandro) as well as the textual translation of the laughing emoji that peppers their WhatsApp conversations. The clothes are the kind Styles regularly sports—dandy with a dash of whimsy. There are plenty of ’70s-inspired tailoring with romantic flourishes alongside treated denim, richly coloured velvets, printed pyjamas, and tartan kilts with leather straps. The duo’s more playful side comes through the prints which take the form of rabbits, hearts and teddy bears.
