THE MOTHER LOAD
Les Beaux-Arts de Paris and Maison Chaumet’s “Botanical – Observing Beauty”, which runs till 4 September at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, is an ambitious exhibition that invites visitors to celebrate nature and flora through a new perspective. Presenting close to 400 works that span across five centuries of art and science, it’s a showcase made possible through the participation of more than 70 lenders that include private collectors, foundations and museums like Musée du Louvre, Victoria & Albert Museum, British Museum and Tokyo’s Albion Art Collection. Expect an impressive curation of paintings, sculptures, furniture and textiles, with nearly 100 jewellery objects from Chaumet and other houses rounding up the exhibit.
