GOOD IN THE HOOD
Worn as a separate accessory or incorporated into a dress or top, hoods not only protect one from the elements but also serve to conceal. While they evoke an air of mystery to onlookers, they also convey a sense of comfort—like a shield—to the wearer. Hoods can be sophisticated, like a velvet balaclavainspired number paired with beaded necklaces, or sporty, like a leather version teamed with an oversize sweater and cargo trousers. It’s also an immensely handy cover-up for bad hair days.
