Matthew Williams is one of those designers who effortlessly bridge the worlds of high fashion and streetwear—his sleek, futuristic aesthetic lending an edge to everything he touches, be it sneakers or suits. At Givenchy, where he is Creative Director, he has further developed the innovative TK-360 sneaker which fully integrates a stretch knit upper with the sole. This season, he made it a universal silhouette for men and women, adding grid-like grooves and contrast-colour accents that evoke forward motion. At Nike, he debuts the MMW Nike Zoom 005 Slide, which combines form and function through a perforated foam upper and a dual-foam outsole that comes with a stability plate in between.
