JUST DO IT
Peter Do might have started as a womenswear label, but men have been shopping its wares from the very beginning. The designer’s directional but understated approach to suiting and wardrobe staples has made him a darling of fashion insiders since his first collection in 2018. During the most recent New York Fashion Week that just wrapped in September, Do finally made his official menswear debut— expanding on his signature women’s tailoring, in particular, a four-piece suit comprising a blazer, shirt (optional) and a skirt worn over trousers. Elsewhere, he juxtaposed sharp tailoring with languid, floaty silk pieces, and played with cut-outs and deconstruction to reveal the body in sensuous, surprising ways.
